NutriScience Innovations, LLC introduces an innovative ingredient, SunActive^® Fe, for the dairy and beverage industry.

SunActive^® Fe is a "Nutrition Delivery System" manufactured by a unique "Super Dispersion Technology" to be used as a mild iron fortification product.

SunActive^® Fe is an iron product, composed of Ferric Pyrophosphate and emulsifiers.

Main Features:

· Dispersible in liquid formulations

· No unpleasant iron taste or flavor

· No reactive iron source or change of color

· High bio-availability

· Sustained release effect of iron

· Mild on the stomach and extremely safe

· LD₅₀: more than 635 mg iron/Kg

SunActive^® Fe is the most stable iron source in liquid form. It is heat stable, does not produce a brownish color and exhibits no iron separation (121ºC , 20 min.).

SunActive^® Fe is highly absorbable after 12 hours following the oral administration and maintains a high level of serum iron concentration even after 8 hours.

SunActive^® Fe shows high values of "Hemoglobin Regeneration Efficiency" in anemic rats.
