Lutein Esters 80% is 100% natural Lutein Ester concentrate obtained
from extracts of Marigold (Tagetes erecta) and submitted to a special
purification process without any chemical transformation.
Lutein Esters 80% contain 80% Lutein Ester, equivalent to
approximately 40% free Lutein, plus 4% of Zeaxanthin, also it is in esterified
form. Its solid powder presentation is ideal for applications in nutritional
supplements, nutraceuticals, functional and fortified foods. It is 100%
biodegradable and has not been standardized with any other vehicles.
Lutein Esters 80% allows appropriate blending with other ingredients
and is ideal for the manufacture of capsules due to the low volume it occupies.
It also offers good compressibility qualities, which makes it adequate for
tablet formulation.
Lutein Esters 80% has Kosher Certification which is another guarantee
of its quality and purity. It indicates that processing equipment has been
thoroughly sanitized and insures that our Lutein Esters 80% are derived
from a Kosher source.
