Green Tea has been considered as a health tonic all over the world for centuries. Today, scientific research supports healthful benefits of Green Tea Extract for reducing gastric and colon cancers and also reducing heart complaints.

Green Tea Extract prevents cell damage, stimulates the immune system, alleviates arthritis, allergies, blood cholesterol, and high blood pressure, with anti-viral, anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory, and anti-aging properties. Used topically, Green Tea Extract protects the skin from UVA and UVB radiation.

Catechins such as Epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG) is the most active compound in Green Tea Extract, a super potent anti-oxidant and reported that it is one hundred times more potent than Vitamin C and 25 times more potent than Vitamin E at protecting cells against free radical attack.
