Andrographis Paniculta, a member of the Acanthaceae family, has been used for centuries in Asia to treat GI tract and upper respiratory infections, fevers and chronic and infectious diseases.

Andrographis Paniculata is used as an Antipyretic to reduce fevers caused by infections or toxins.

Andrographolides, the most active phytochemicals found in Andrographis Paniculata have cancer cell-killing abilities. 

Andrographolides also have differentiation-inducing activity, which prevent cancer cells from metastasizing or growing out of control.

Andrographis Paniculata also stimulates the immune system by making antibodies to counteract invading microbes, then making macrophage cells to destroy those invading microbes.
